For several weeks now the tragedy of Tiger Woods has been in the news incessantly. I find it having a place in my own psyche, too. I have been a devotee of Tiger and have watched him on occasional Sundays either perform his miracles of golf and win tournaments or play the role of the tragic loser. By the way, I use the word “tragic” not in the sense of disastrous but as the movement in human life between tragedy and comedy, gain and loss.
